STAFFORD, VA – On Thursday, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office released its daily incident report detailing a series of criminal activities from Wednesday.

In the early hours of Wednesday, deputies C.M. Sterne and W.A. Upon being taken to Rappahannock Regional Jail, another substance was discovered on the driver, leading to his charge with multiple offenses, including possession of controlled substances and driving without a license.

Later in the day on Wednesday, Deputy A.J. Layug was called to a larceny incident at Home Depot on Worth Avenue, where a nail gun was reported stolen by a male suspect. By evening, Deputy K.F. Bierfeldt responded to another theft at the same Home Depot location, involving the theft of credit cards, cash, and a driver’s license from a customer’s wallet.

In another larceny report on Wednesday night, Deputy E.T. Osborn investigated a theft at the YMCA on Butler.
