WASHINGTON, D.C. — A 17-year-old male was shot and killed Thursday afternoon in Northwest, prompting a homicide investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department.
At approximately 3:07 p.m. on May 29, officers from the Third District responded to reports of gunfire in the 900 block of Florida Avenue NW. Upon arrival, they found the victim, a juvenile male, unconscious and unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds.
DC Fire and EMS transported the victim to a nearby hospital. Despite emergency efforts, the victim was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The decedent has been identified as Angel Ernesto Dominquez, 17, of Northwest D.C.
Investigation ongoing as police seek leads in teen’s killing

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
