BRISTOL, Conn. — A Bristol woman scored a $10,000 win playing Keno after purchasing a ticket at H & F Petroleum LLC, a local gas station and convenience store, on Monday.
Susan S. claimed the five-figure prize after matching her selected numbers during one of the state’s ongoing Keno drawings. The Connecticut Lottery recorded the win the same day.
The winning ticket was bought at H & F Petroleum, located in Bristol. Retailers who sell winning tickets are eligible for a bonus from the Connecticut Lottery based on prize levels.
Keno, a fast-paced numbers game available in Connecticut bars, restaurants, and retail locations, offers prizes ranging from a few dollars to $1 million, depending on the wager and match count. Susan S.’s prize is among the higher-end Keno payouts.
Her full name was not disclosed by lottery officials, in accordance with Connecticut state policy.
