Teen robbed in broad daylight in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two individuals wanted for robbing a 14-year-old boy Wednesday afternoon in the Bronx.

The robbery occurred at approximately 3:53 p.m. on April 23 in front of 1421 Watson Avenue, within the confines of the 43rd Precinct. Authorities said the suspects grabbed the young victim and made verbal threats before stealing his property.

Suspects fled scene on foot

Images of the suspects, taken from nearby surveillance footage, have been released by the NYPD as part of their investigation. Detectives are reviewing additional footage from the area and speaking to witnesses.

The property stolen from the victim has not been detailed by authorities.

Public urged to aid investigation

The NYPD is encouraging anyone who recognizes the individuals or who has information about the robbery to contact Crime Stoppers or the 43rd Precinct.

Police emphasized that all tips can be kept confidential.
