BRONX, NY – Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark has announced the sentencing of Nasir Greene, 28, to 20 years in prison for a retaliatory double homicide. The incident, which also left another man wounded, took place inside a Claremont building hallway.
The violent act was in response to the murder of Greene’s uncle, who was killed while walking with his daughter. According to DA Clark, Greene, residing at 1521 Sheridan Avenue, and his co-defendant engaged in this act of retaliatory justice, which resulted in further bloodshed and danger. Greene pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree manslaughter on November 30, 2023, and was sentenced today by Bronx Supreme Court Justice Margaret Clancy. Alongside his prison term, Greene will undergo five years of post-release supervision.
His co-defendant, Kalvin Robinson, 32, received a 25-year prison sentence in January after pleading guilty to manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon. The shooting occurred at 8:00 p.m. on July 5, 2020, at 306 East 171st Street. Eghosa Imafidon, 26, and Joel Baba, 22, were fatally injured, while Mohammed Baba, 29, was wounded in the arm.
